The length of a child’s osteopathic treatment plan varies with the child and will differ from that of an adult. For an adult, to begin osteopathic treatment, an average of four to six osteopathic sessions are scheduled; more may be necessary with a severe problem. The initial one-hour consultation includes a one-half hour osteopathic treatment and is followed by weekly half-hour long sessions. Dr. Newlon recommends an initial three to four treatments for an infant or child and then a re-evaluation is done.

The initial homeopathic evaluation is one hour with a one-half-hour follow up scheduled four to six weeks after taking a remedy. Homeopathic resolution of a problem can take three months to two years, depending on the duration or severity of the problem.
